Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!

There’s something really special about a wedding that stays intentional and intimate while still feeling incredibly meaningful, and that perfectly describes Jessica and Ashton’s March wedding at The Elliot in Tremont.
From the very beginning, Jessica knew she wanted a wedding day that felt authentic to them. When she came across photos I had taken at The Elliot from a past wedding, she immediately connected with the way I captured the space and the emotion of the day. Hearing that she knew I was the right fit after seeing those images meant so much to me, especially because The Elliot is one of those venues that photographs beautifully when the focus stays on the people and the moments.

One of my favorite moments from the day was Jessica and Ashton’s first look in front of The Elliot’s iconic stained glass windows — one of the most recognizable features of the venue.
The soft light pouring through the windows created the dreamiest atmosphere for such an emotional moment between the two of them. It was quiet, intimate, and gave them a chance to fully soak in the day together before the ceremony began.
Those windows are such a staple piece of The Elliot’s character, and they made the perfect backdrop for portraits that felt timeless and romantic without needing anything overly staged.

Jessica and Ashton chose to keep things simple in some of the best ways. They skipped a traditional bridal party altogether and focused instead on creating a relaxed, meaningful experience with the people closest to them.
And honestly, their wedding never felt “small.”
The energy in the room, the emotion throughout the day, and the way their friends and family showed up for them made everything feel incredibly full and intentional. It was proof that you don’t need a massive wedding party or an over-the-top timeline for a wedding day to feel important and unforgettable.

One of the reasons I love photographing weddings at The Elliot is because the space itself is so versatile and clean in design.
The neutral walls, open layout, and minimal decor allow every wedding to feel personal without competing with the space. Whether couples lean modern, romantic, editorial, or classic, the venue adapts beautifully while still maintaining its signature industrial-meets-elegant feel.
For Jessica and Ashton’s wedding, the simplicity of the ceremony and reception design worked perfectly with the venue. Nothing felt overdone. The focus stayed exactly where it should’ve been — on the people, the emotion, and the celebration itself.

I loved spending the day with Jessica and Ashton, and this incredible Google review they left me is proof that the feeling was mutual:
“Where do I even begin?!
Amanda takes the most beautiful wedding photos-yes, hands down her art is insane- BUT her gift is also in her ability to read the room, make the people she is capturing feel comfortable, seen, and heard, and working flawlessly with vendors and the people around her. She managed to be everywhere and next to us (bride and groom) all at once, it was as if there were two of her on our big day and she captured all the best moments flawlessly! Amanda helped make our wedding day so special and there aren’t enough “thank yous” to adequately express our gratitude. We love you Amanda!!!”
