Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is the unique stories behind every one of my couples. In these Chagrin Falls Wedding Photos, I met up with Andrea and Tyler and Tyler’s 96-year-old grandmother, Jojo. Andrea and Tyler are getting married next month in North Carolina, but because Jojo isn’t able to attend their wedding, we decided to bring a piece of their big day to her because she means so much to them!
Jojo holds such a special place in Andrea and Tyler’s hearts that they couldn’t imagine not including her somehow in their wedding. She is a whole vibe! She’s warm and charismatic and is an amazing part of their lives.
At the end of April, I met the three of them in downtown Chagrin Falls on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. The area we visited was bustling with people enjoying their day, so I had to get creative with the setting. We found a nice spot in a parking lot, and the images are absolutely delightful, so I think we nailed the vision we all had for the session.
Capturing these Chagrin Falls Wedding Photos was a lot of fun. I love visiting the Chagrin Falls area! The downtown location offers something for everyone, from little boutique shops to excellent dining establishments. One of the rare characteristics of the village is the Chagrin River flowing through the middle of town.
As we started the session, they presented Jojo with a couple of beautiful roses that matched Tyler’s boutainnaire. The flowers were gorgeous, and it was apparent they made her feel very special. After grabbing some adorable photos, we found a bench for them to sit on, and they shared readings from their wedding. She listened intently and enjoyed hearing the words that’ll be read on the big day. At the end of their session, they shared a toast of love and well wishes for a prosperous marriage.
This time with them was just so dang good for my soul. I thoroughly enjoy documenting precious memories that my couples and their families will never forget.
Enjoy my favorite Chagrin Falls Wedding Photos!
