Max and Emily’s fall wedding at The Grand Resort was so lovely! The venue made for an unforgettable backdrop to their memorable day.

Max and Emily are such a fun couple. Max is hilarious, and Emily just rolls her eyes and laughs at him with adoration. They share a deep connection with a mix of laughter, which is precisely what made their wedding so special. I’m grateful that I keep lucking out with the most laid-back couples ever!

Emily and Max chose to do a first look by the water, which was seriously perfect. Then, we grabbed photos of them around the venue, and they loved that there were both pretty outdoor and indoor locations. They especially enjoyed the outdoor fountain and the stunning interior staircase. We recreated some of their engagement photos, which brought a lot of laughs. Just one of the great qualities of Max and Emily is how unpretentious they are! I loved when they took a break from portraits to grab snacks from the snack stand.

The venue allowed an excellent space for both the wedding and reception. The grounds were beautiful for capturing a lovely fall day, and the patio and interior were perfect for the guests to enjoy themselves. After the ceremony, they enjoyed dining and toasts and a delightful array of sweets for dessert. On the dance floor, family and friends celebrated the love of this adorable couple after the formal part of the day was over. Max and Emily like authentic but well-composed images, so nailing that was my main goal for the day.

This day was incredible, and I had a great time connecting with Max and Emily, their guests, and the team of vendors. Max and Emily trusted their vendors completely and were super grateful to have us there. Working alongside the planner, we chatted about how nice it was to know that our clients put their faith and trust in us!
