Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
Jenny and Trevor’s summer wedding was seriously AMAZING. They officially became husband and wife at St. John of the Cross in Euclid, and then ended their celebration with a reception at the Ariel International Center. It was a beautiful day full of fun and love!
It’s always a joy to see the reactions during first looks. Not only did Jenny and Trevor share a first look, but Jenny had a first look with all of her bridesmaids, as well as with her dad. All of them smiled from ear to ear, and could barely even handle how stunning she looked.
Once everyone was dressed and ready for the day, we headed to Greenwood Farm in Richmond to take all of their portraits. Jenny and Trevor shared the sweetest first look and then exchanged private vows. They love being outdoors and wanted to incorporate some greenery into their photos to balance the industrial vibe of the venue, so this location was perfect for photos.
Jenny chose the prettiest color palette for her day: navy and blue. The groomsmen wore navy suits, while the bridesmaids wore mauve dresses. It was the BEST color combo for an end-of-summer wedding.
They had the most adorable touches at their reception. At each table, they included photos of themselves at the age of the corresponding table number. I thought this was a really unique way for their guests to see pictures of them when they were younger. While they shared their flawless first dance, the sun poured through the windows, casting a dreamy glow on them and sending my photographer heart into overdrive.
There’s so much to love about Ariel International Center, but the views deserve their own paragraph! Of course the rooftop view is off-the-charts incredible, but you can admire the Cleveland skyline from inside the venue, too. Can you think of a better backdrop for a dance floor?!
When they received their wedding gallery, Jenny and Trevor told me that it was like they were reliving their wedding day all over again. Have I mentioned how much I love this job? I not only get to witness my couples getting married, but I also get to photograph all of the small things they might not even notice on their wedding day. I approach each wedding with a documentary style, and it’s fascinating how each one is so very different.
Trevor and Jenny, congratulations again on your marriage—I can’t wait to see where this new adventure takes you!
Enjoy some of my favorites from this elegant industrial wedding.
