Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
Craig and Katrina’s wedding at Williams on the Lake in Medina was the stuff dreams are made of. To start the day, Katrina gathered with all of her bridesmaids and flower girls to get ready at her parents’ beautiful home. Katrina helped her flower girls get ready, which really added to the happiness of them being part of the wedding, and their smiles didn’t leave their faces the entire time she did their makeup. SO cute!
Katrina and Craig shared a private first look before the ceremony. Even though he said he isn’t a super-emotional person, Craig shed a few tears as soon as he saw his gorgeous bride. I LIVE FOR first looks. They allow my couples to enjoy intimate time to connect and help them get some of those inevitable wedding-day nerves under control. It also allows us to take all of the photos before the ceremony even begins!
These two share off-the-charts chemistry. They made my job easy with their unparalleled affection and their love to laugh with each other—which definitely shined through in their photos. Their whole day was laid-back and so much fun, which describes Katrina and Craig perfectly.
I absolutely love Williams on the Lake! The ceremony spot is a cute area, with a unique built-in circular arch where the bride and groom stand. With the sizable lake on the property, there are countless spots for photos, not to mention the beautiful sunset scenery.
Speaking of sunsets, I grabbed these two right before sunset to create some dreamy portraits! These photos are definitely some of my favorites from their day. I always recommend that my couples sneak out of their reception for just a few minutes because those golden hour photos never disappoint!
A benefit of this wedding venue is that the party was able to be both inside and outside. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful, unusually cool July evening outside, dancing away and making memories. We could even see the Medina fireworks display from the patio!
Katrina and Craig, thank you for letting me photograph your incredible wedding day! I love you guys!
