Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
It was a beautiful sunny day for Cam and Laura’s June wedding at Chagrin Valley Country Club! Laura is originally from the Cleveland area, but she and Cam live in Massachusetts now, so she handled all their wedding details from afar. She and her super-organized mom planned a truly perfect day.
One of my favorite parts of the day was when Laura was getting ready. She had her mom, sister, grandma, godmother, and cousin in the room with her to assist with her wedding dress, shoes, and necklace. It was SO sweet that she wanted all of these special ladies in the room to help her prepare for the biggest day of her life.
Their ceremony was at Saint Joan of Arc. When Laura walked down the aisle to her groom, Cam had the biggest smile on his face! He was beyond pumped to be marrying the love of his life.
Laura and Cam are both big fans of being outdoors, and they enjoy spending time in nature together. It was only fitting that they had a wedding theme that was naturally elegant with lovely hints of wildflowers. At each guest’s seat at the reception, they even included a small packet of seeds that said “let love grow.”
During their reception, they had a couple of signature drinks with names that went along with the wildflower theme, and there was a really fun twist: You had to roll dice and whatever number it landed on was the drink you were served. This was a game Laura and Cam played on their first date, so it was totally appropriate to include it in their wedding festivities!
Cam and Laura were ecstatic with how amazing their wedding day was, and I don’t think either one of them ever stopped smiling! During their reception, they shared their first dance with all of their guests surrounding them and cheering, which was an incredible moment.
Everyone enjoyed the rest of the night on the dance floor, celebrating and having a fantastic time!
I’m so glad I was the one to be able to capture all this for Laura and Cam.
