Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
After officially getting married at the courthouse, Ashley and Evan met me at Cleveland Botanical Garden to celebrate with portraits among the flowers. It was the perfect way to balance a simple, private ceremony with something a little more special to remember the day by.
A courthouse wedding keeps things meaningful and stress-free—but that doesn’t mean skipping out on photos. Many couples choose to mark the occasion with a portrait session afterward, creating beautiful images that feel just as timeless as a full wedding day. Cleveland Botanical Garden is one of my favorite spots for this—it offers a mix of lush greenery, colorful blooms, and quiet corners for couples to enjoy together.
Ashley and Evan wandered the gardens together, soaking in the first moments of being newly married. The setting was calm, natural, and romantic without being over the top. Photographing them in this space felt effortless—their connection came through in every image, from laughter to quiet moments between them.
While this day was focused on keeping things small and simple, Ashley and Evan are planning a larger wedding celebration next year. I’ll be there to capture it all, and I’m so excited to tell the full story of their wedding journey.
Whether you’re choosing a private courthouse ceremony, a portrait session afterward, or a full wedding day, photography is such an important way to remember it all.
If you’re planning a Cleveland courthouse wedding or dreaming of portraits at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens (or anywhere in Northeast Ohio), I’d love to document your day. Contact me here to start planning your photos!
