Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
When Lindsay and Hyo chose the Old Courthouse in Cleveland, Ohio for their engagement session, I knew we were in for something truly special. This historic gem isn’t just a stunning backdrop—it’s a place that invites creativity. With Lindsay and Hyo’s full support and excitement, I was free to fully lean into the artistic side of storytelling, and what we created together was unforgettable.
The Old Courthouse is breathtaking. Between the grand staircases, intricate marble details, and soft, warm lighting, every corner of the space tells a story. It’s elegant, timeless, and filled with texture—everything you could want for an engagement session that feels both luxurious and romantic.
One of the most meaningful details from the session? Lindsay wore a dress that she and Hyo made together. Yes—you read that right. Not only did they show up in style, but their outfits carried personal significance, which made every photo that much more intimate. It was such a beautiful reflection of their relationship: creative, intentional, and deeply connected.
We made the most of everything the courthouse has to offer. Inside, we embraced the drama and elegance of the architecture. Outside, we let the soft tones of the stone exterior and the late afternoon light guide us. There’s something magical about transitioning from grand interiors to the openness of the street—it gives the full story.
Lindsay and Hyo were all in. They trusted me completely and encouraged creative experimentation, which made the session feel like an artist’s playground. From quiet, emotional portraits to more editorial moments, we explored it all. I even got a little trendy with some intentional motion blur—soft, dreamy, and just the right amount of modern. And of course, we wrapped with the iconic “walking across the street” shot, which always feels cinematic in the heart of downtown Cleveland.
This session was a beautiful reminder that the best photos come from couples who show up as themselves. Lindsay and Hyo brought their creativity, their connection, and their shared sense of fun—and it made every image shine with authenticity.
