Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
Carlee and Ernesto had a timeless fall wedding at Blue Heron Event Center.
Carlee was a server at Ernesto’s family restaurant for seven years before they started dating, and their love story grew from there!
They held their ceremony and reception at Blue Heron Wedding Venue in Medina, Ohio. Blue Heron Event Center is perfect for an intimate or large wedding. Carlee and Ernesto specifically loved the 1500 square foot patio connected to the grand ballroom, which features incredible ground views.
They found me through Google and liked my timeless but honed photography style. It was fate that I was able to photograph their wedding because they contacted me to check my availability the very same week that their date opened up for me due to another couple’s postponement!
I love when my couples do a first look because it’s an intimate moment between them and a memory that will last forever. Carlee and Ernesto met up before their ceremony, and after hugging like crazy, crying, and taking in how each other looked, they moved to a lovely stone bench and exchanged letters.
Family is very important to Carlee and Ernesto, and their families played an important role in their big day. Family photos at a wedding are sometimes the only images of everybody together, so I like to take full advantage of having the whole family there! We took family formals outdoors with the fall foliage as our perfect backdrop.
Carlee and Ernesto had a vision for their golden hour photos. It’s great when a couple knows what they want for their photos but also trusts my knowledge and creativity. They carved out a chunk of time after the ceremony for sunset photos. We weren’t rushed, and the images came out beautifully!
When I delivered their photos, Ernesto messaged me saying their photos were fantastic and loved by them and their family! This couple is so photogenic, and there wasn’t an unflattering photo of either one of them.
Carlee and Ernesto’s wedding day was a dream come true! Enjoy some of my favorites from their Blue Heron Event Center wedding!
