Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
On a warm, sunny day, Natasha and Hutch tied the knot at The Barn at Hart’s Grove.
This nature-loving couple loves being outdoors and working together at a farmer’s market. They chose the Windsor, Ohio wedding venue because it’s a beautiful, new location that jives with their outdoorsy, rustic lifestyle.
The Barn at Hart’s Grove is a new venue that radiates natural country vibes. This location has 550 rolling acres of gorgeous scenery. They aim to lend you a stunning backdrop for the most important day of your life! This property has been a significant part of history since the 1800’s, and their goal is to bring families together for years to come.
The premises has several buildings, with the barn being the main focus. The rustic yet elegant barn is black and white colonial-themed with a gorgeous pine interior and wooden square chandeliers providing exquisite lighting. The 4,400 square foot barn can host up to 200 guests and 775 square foot additional balcony space. The covered porch has bistro lighting and a mobile bar available, and to the side of the barn has a 2,400-square-foot patio with a pergola, fire pit, and plenty of seating.
The chapel is another option for your wedding day. It can also host up to 200 people. The chapel gives you a feeling of having your wedding outside, as three sides of the building can be open unless the weather doesn’t cooperate. The view from the chapel at The Barn at Hart’s Grove offers beautiful scenery of a pasture, woods, and a fascinating lake. Also available is a bridal guest house that offers plenty of space for the bridal party to get ready, along with a lounge, full bathroom, and kitchenette. Not to forget about the guys, there’s also a groomsmen space, a small area with a lounge, kitchenette, and bathroom.
Natasha and Hutch’s wedding day was a relaxed, boho, romantic day surrounded by family and friends. Natasha wore a beautiful lace applique bodice gown with a flowy skirt and court train. She shared a first look with her parents, and her dad sobbed as he saw his little girl all dressed up to marry the man of her dreams. Natasha said, “Dad, you never cry!” He said, “I know. I must’ve saved it all for today!” It was a special moment between Natasha and her parents they’ll hold onto forever! She and Hutch also shared a first look, and they laughed, twirled around, and took in the moment of seeing each other for the first time on their big day.
Natasha and Hutch incorporated their love of nature throughout their big day. During their ceremony, they fed each other honey, representing the enduring sweetness they’ll share throughout their lives. Their first dance was to “You’re My Honeybee” by The Head and the Heart. This song was the perfect choice for their first dance! As an additional touch of nature, they gave their guests plants that also served as escort cards.
Their day was a delightful display of their deep love for each other. They were so welcoming to work with, and I’m thrilled to have been the one to capture their wedding day at The Barn at Hart’s Grove.
