Charming Summer Wedding at The Clifton Barn | Jeff and Allison

Jeff and Allison had a charming wedding at The Clifton Barn on a beautiful day in June in Avon Lake, Ohio!

These two lovebirds were high school sweethearts who went their separate way after school, and nearly three decades later, they found their way back to each other.

Jeff and Allison met up for a first look in the heart of Avon at the Miller Nature Preserve. We had Jeff stand on the iron bridge amongst the 145 acres of fascinating gardens awaiting his bride. As Allison approached him, it was clear that his anticipation was mounting to see his soon-to-be-wife. This moment was undeniably one of the best first looks I’ve photographed! The expression on each of their faces was priceless! Each of them was giddy with delight at the way they looked. They came together, and each read letters of love to the other. Before their ceremony at Holy Spirit Parish, their precious family joined them for pre-wedding photos. They included their kids in the wedding party, and some read special readings during the ceremony.

The celebration moved to The Clifton Barn, a popular wedding venue in Avon, Ohio. This charmingly rustic barn originally dates back to 1830 and has been restored to its original English-style design. Jeff and Allison had their wedding reception in The Ivy Room at The Clifton Barn. In this spacious room, you will find open seating and a wood-beamed ceiling draped in ivy. This space is ideal for a smaller wedding or event and seats up to 100 people. This spectacular wedding venue in Avon, Ohio, sits on three acres of land, along with ten shops and restaurants called Olde Avon Village.

There were vibrant pops of color on the tables and floral arrangements throughout the venue. Jeff and Allison enjoyed a lovely first dance as their guests sat back and watched them twirl around the dance floor. Following the first dance, a few special guests gave a heartfelt toast, which brought everyone a bit of laughter. A group picture was taken after the cake-cutting, and the party began! The rest of the day involved everyone dancing their hearts out! I love grabbing candid photos of the couple and their guests enjoying themselves. Everyone was laid-back and had a great time!

I’m so happy that my friend from Oh Hello Event Planning referred me to Jeff and Allison. They were a super sweet couple to work with, and they were so excited to finally combine their families into one big family!
