Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
It was a lovely summer night for Dylan and Nina’s Voinovich Park Engagement Session in Cleveland, Ohio.
We originally planned a sunrise session, but unfortunately, rain arrived, and the weather wasn’t cooperating with us. So we pushed back their session and had a beautiful evening session with a gorgeous sunset.
Dylan and Nina met in college in Cleveland and have known each other for ten years. They’re getting married next August at The Hyatt, which is a special place to them because that’s where they had their first date!
Voinovich Park is part of the North Coast Harbor, where the city meets the lake in Downtown Cleveland. This area is known for some of Cleveland’s biggest attractions, such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, the Great Lakes Science Center, and FirstEnergy Stadium. This area is a great place to visit whether you reside in Cleveland or are just visiting. For visitors, there are endless activities and enjoyable memories to be made while visiting this unique area, and for locals, this district is the perfect place to escape everyday life.
Obviously, this location was a great place to capture their adorable engagement photos. I love how their Voinovich Park engagement photos allow for both a city backdrop and a lake view. Their photo session was soooo fun and dreamy. We captured them loving on each other and enjoying themselves with a C-Town IPA from Collision Bend Brewing Company in The Flats. We also grabbed a few pictures of them with their dog Rocky. Dylan’s parents were kind enough to join us at the session and helped with Rocky.
I LOVED spending the evening with Dylan and Nina. With them now living in Iowa, they came to town for the holiday weekend to visit family, and we squeezed in their Voinovich Park engagement session.
If you’re in the early stages of planning your wedding, I’d love to chat and hear about your vision for your big day!
