Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
It was a super-cold Saturday for Kristin and Ken’s wedding at The Tanglewood Club in Bainbridge, but despite the temperature, their day was filled with cheer, fun, and SO MUCH laughter.
Both Kristin and Ken are brilliant beyond words, hilarious, and welcoming, as are all of their loved ones. (Side note: Ken is a chemist, and Kristin is a librarian.) I’m not sure I’ve EVER witnessed so much laughter at a wedding. It’s obvious that they love each other tremendously, and it was such a joy to be around love like that.
Kristin wore a gorgeous ball gown wedding dress with a full skirt and a fitted V-neck bodice. The front of her dress was embellished with a shimmering belt, and the back was adorned with open spaghetti straps.
As soon as we arrived at The Tanglewood Club, they shared their first look, providing them with an intimate moment to gaze at each other in all their total magnificence.
A warm and cozy atmosphere pervaded their wedding ceremony at The Tanglewood Club. They got married in front of a fireplace decorated with candles and florals. It was the perfect setting for a winter wedding.
Their centerpieces were so unique and perfectly fitting for them at the reception! Kristin collected books for each table as a nod to her love of books. She placed them on the tables based on what she thought each guest would like to read so they could take the books home. They had a two-tier wedding cake adorned with florals, along with a dessert table that was full of delicious treats like sugar cookies and brownies.
Their reception was an absolutely blast! The toasts that their loved ones gave were phenomenal—funny, clever, and warm. After the traditional dances were over, the dance floor opened up, and everyone enjoyed a fun evening!
I am SO thankful that I could photograph this epic day for Ken and Kristin! Check out some of my favorites from their wedding at The Tanglewood Club!
