Hi! This blog is a great place to see highlights from weddings, which I think is more helpful than viewing a portfolio comprised of random favorites from a million different weddings. Please keep in mind that I deliver around 1,000 edited photos per wedding, so these posts are just 50-ish photos I liked from these weddings. Let me know if you'd like to see an entire wedding gallery—I'm happy to send you a link!
Greg and Laura brought me back to one of my favorite wedding venues in Cleveland! They had such a charming fall wedding at Ariel International Center. I’ve shared before that this industrial venue is a photographer’s dream come true, and I genuinely mean it. It’s always a joy to photograph weddings here, and I’m starting to feel like I know the place like the back of my hand!
Laura and Greg both have the sweetest souls. They’re so kind to one another and also to everybody they encounter! They decided to get married at Ariel International Center because they loved the rooftop view and industrial vibes, and who can blame them?! They lucked out with a perfect fall day with gorgeous blue skies.
Laura searched far and wide to incorporate something blue into her day and found the perfect pair of Tiffany blue shoes to wear with her dress. They looked amazing on her! Once she was ready for her big day, she shared a first look with her father. While turning around to see her, her dad had the biggest smile on his face, and Laura wiped a happy tear from his cheek. Witnessing moments like this is absolutely priceless to me.
As soon as the ceremony was over, it was time for newlywed portraits! Of course we had to grab some on the rooftop with the city in the back, but we wanted to shake things up a bit—and I’m so thankful Greg and Laura trusted me! We headed to the parking lot and used a fence with overgrown greenery as the backdrop, and the pictures turned out fantastic!
Their reception was SO much fun. During Laura and Greg’s first dance, Greg’s father serenaded them, and then, during Laura’s dance with her father, Greg sang and played his guitar! I really love when my couples add a unique twist to their day like this.
For dessert, they had assorted donuts, which were delicious! Everyone enjoyed the night by dancing their booties off. At the end of the evening, we went out on the rooftop to take some nighttime portraits. The city glowed in the background, and the images turned out so dreamy. That view is worth booking this venue!
