I LOVED being a little part of Nathan and Emily’s City Hall Rotunda wedding in downtown Cleveland! They had an elegant wedding on the hottest day of the year, August 28th. Emily and Nathan met seven years ago while attending Ohio State University. With their down-to-earth and chill personalities, they are seriously a joy to be around.

Emily and Nathan decided to have their wedding at the City Hall Rotunda because they wanted a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. There’s nowhere on the planet like City Hall! It’s GORGEOUS. They chose black and white as their colors, which perfectly matched the classy vibe of the venue.

Emily did a first look with her grandma. It just so happened to be her grandma’s birthday, so after the first look, everybody sang “Happy Birthday,” and it was one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever seen… and I’ve seen A LOT of moments.

Nathan and Emily opted to do a first touch instead of a first look. I scoped out the perfect spot for this moment, as they were able to hold hands around the corner from one another. With light pouring through the windows, they shared a few quiet, meaningful moments before their ceremony, and then read their private vows. My favorite photo of the day was taken during this first touch.

Their reception was a ton of fun as their guests, and the two of them, partied through the night! They danced the night away with music from their college days, and I don’t think they ever left the dance floor!

Last year, I captured photos of Emily’s co-worker’s baby, and Emily loved my warm, timeless editing and natural posing, so she reached out to me to photograph her wedding day! I am SO glad she did.
